Tremendous in addition to that protection was looked first! Dentist East Meadow is exquisite and talented - with a speedy and effortless cleaning. I have been to different specialists before and NO ONE invests the energy with you as he does. You never feel that he is in hurry. In the event that you need to look awesome and like yourself, make a meeting with Dentist East Meadow and you won't be disappointed. Good dentist. I came last year for work. He did same day dentures and it was perfect. Highly recommend Doctor Rakesh and his assistant Lisa was very helpful. They went above and beyond to help with me with my tooth problem. MR. D Lall Excellent practice! Very professional, warm and truly focused on the patient, their comfort and their care. Dr. Wrigley is awesome! I love Dr. Khilwani! He is so nice, I never wait more than 15 minutes, he has late hours and his staff is so sweet. The ONLY issue I have is that they don't send out reminders or call or anything when I'm due for a cleaning. It may just be that I'm used to it from my childhood dentist and liked that the office did that. Either way, I really don't mind going there and I hate the dentist typically.

What is a Dental Implant?
As the top dental implant dentist Jamaica Queens patients have come to rely on, Dr. Rakesh Khilwani and his team at Pleasant Care Dental have put in countless implants, and do so on almost a daly basis! The implant itself, is an artificial tooth root, surgically implanted into the mouth. Often times it can be made of a combination of titanium and a bone-like ceramic material that is compatible with your jaw bone. The implant fuses with the jawbone, and in this way it is able to support a crown, bridge, or even dentures (full or partial).

There Are 2 Types of Implants
As a long-time dental implant dentist Jamaica Queens dentist Rakesh Khilwani uses two specific types of dental implants. One is an endosteal implant, which is the most common form of dental implant. This one if placed into the bone to create fusion. While the other is a subperiosteal implant, which is positioned on the bone for patients who have inadequate bone height or can’t wear traditional dentures.

Benefits of Dental Implants Are:

  • Provide the same stability as natural teeth, because of bone fusion.
  • Cleaned the same as natural teeth, just brush and floss.
  • Implants stand on their own unlike certain bridges or crowns.
